Neutering is one of the most common surgical procedures we carry out. Whether you're planning ahead for your puppy or kitten, or considering neutering an older pet, we'll talk you through the options, timing, and what to expect — without pressure.
All neutering procedures are carried out under general anaesthetic with full monitoring, appropriate pre-operative checks, and multimodal pain management including medications to take home.

Common soft tissue procedures we perform include lump removals and biopsies, wound management and repair, caesarean sections, bladder and urinary procedures, and gastrointestinal procedures.
We will always discuss the procedure, the anaesthetic, the expected recovery, and the cost with you before booking. Prices for soft tissue procedures outside our standard fixed-price list are estimated individually.
We carry out a range of orthopaedic surgical procedures here at TWC. Our surgical team has the experience and the facilities to perform many orthopaedic operations for dogs and cats, meaning your pet stays with the team they know throughout their care.
If your pet needs an orthopaedic procedure that is better suited to a referral facility, we will always be transparent about that and help you find the right option. We will never perform a procedure here if we believe your pet's outcome would be better served elsewhere.
Orthopaedic surgery covers procedures relating to bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons. Common procedures we perform include simple fracture repair, cruciate ligament surgery, and joint procedures. We will always discuss the procedure, the expected recovery, and aftercare with you in full before anything is booked.
Recovery from orthopaedic surgery is as important as the procedure itself. Our on-site team of formally qualified animal physiotherapists — and a water treadmill — means post-operative recovery can begin at the same practice, without an additional referral or journey for your pet. Our Strideway gait analysis gives objective data to track progress through recovery.
Where a procedure falls outside what we can best provide here, we will say so and support you with a referral. We will always advise you of the best solution for your pet.
